Hello,
I have a Marlin Model 92 lever action rifle. Looks like a 22. It was my fathers and I am having trouble finding info on it. I like it and would fix it if the parts are available at a reasonable price. Other wise I would like to sell it. Any good ideas as to its value or how old it is are very welcome?

What parts do you need - that will help.
Have you tried www.e-gunparts.com?
Value - sure would be hard to say without a detailed description of the condition... even then... kind of a wild guess with less-common guns. If you see any on Auction Arms or GunsAmerica that would of course help.
Good luck and welcome to the forum!

The model 92 was the follow up to the Model 1892, it came in 22 or 32 cal., this change was first made in 1905 but there were numerous receivers made and so some 1892's were still going out untill the end of production in 1915. So with the model 92 designation it was produced between 1905-1915.
The 32 had a changable firing pin for either centerfire or rimfire by switching the pin. The early ejectors were just pushed into the ejector slot, a later version had two screws that held it in place. If I remember correctly only the 22's had the one with screws in it. So if it has screws it is the later model ejector if not early model. With that exception I believe the 1892 and 92 parts are fairly interchangable and a good place to look for such parts is Wisner's.
