My friend shot this one opening weekend. We looked and looked and last weekend, he found it.

Its good to know that he didn't miss afterall. Even if you find it a few months late.

I missed one shot at a buck in my life. I just don't take shots if I think I can miss them.
But at 75 yards, it was so big that the last thing I was focused on was his horns. It was a clean miss!

Nice deer and I'm glad he found it. May be the location of the find or some other clues will help put the puzzle together for next time.

Let's hope they're still out there and not on the neighbor's property!

I'm doing my best to keep in shooting form for this fall. Work several days a week at the gunrange (10 hr days in 100*+) and will pop caps when the firing line gets slow.

Put in for deer/elk here and won't know results until the end of July - first of Aug.

Still debating on the NM antelope. What's your take on the hunt? Gonna make it?
