Just thought I would let you guys know of the good service I recently received from Bushnell in the repair of my new Trophy Spotting Scope...

The scope took quite a tumble out of the back of my PUG after the short trip down the hill from the range. It landed right smack on the eye bell and broke it. First time out with the scope. I boxed it up and sent it to Bushnell with a note of what happened. In that there was nothing wrong with the product, I expected to get a letter telling me to call them to authorize a repair at my expense. Instead, seven days later I received my scope back... good as new!

This is my second experience with their service department and they are tops in my book!

What's a PUG? Other than the service, which was great, how do you like the scope?

It's a great scope! I bought it because it is what all the guides used out where I hunted desert mule deer. Good enough for that country, good enough for my needs.

See PUG below... Mules are for the girlies... PUG is the original (http://www.pugcatv.com/products.htm). The young fellow driving came out for some hog hunting. Note... most excellent South Texas hog country. Note feeder on back, pop-up blind in bed along with 35 gallons of fresh water so you can clean up after dressing the kill.

I gave MikeG a call Thursday and he is still feeling a bit puney... Drs. trying to figure it out but talk of hog hunting picks his ears up a bit.

Not anymore! Trick is to never take stains out.... then you don't mind new ones. It's like getting a different camo patter each trip! :D

I think that my gall bladder is acting up, slowly getting it straightened out. Not life threatening, but annoying as all get-out.

Malfunctioning gall bladder is pretty miserable.

Was treated for a stomach ulcer for several years - doc's couldn't figure out the intense pain. Finally re-Xrayed and found gall bladder chock full of stones and plugged up. Whacked it out and never had that problem again. That was back in the days when they opened you up big enough to check on other things. Took the appendix while in there.
