I saw that on the 375 Big Bore thread. What does it mean (pre AE)? Thanks!

Henry,,,,,,, It means "Pre-Angle Eject". The angle eject guns were introduced in 1984 or somewhere thereabouts.........The 375 was introduced in about 1977 or maybe 78 in the top eject  94 Winchesters. It had a beefier reciever in the rear........and was only available I believe in the XTR version. Very well made indeed.......I prefer the top eject 375's.....Bob
