Anybody know of where I can buy or have made holsters for my two '58 Rems, each 5 1/2 inch barrel lengths. I am not looking for military style, flap/butt forward designs, nor floppy leather jobs either.

PS- 1860 percussion holsters do not hold Remington worth a darn.

Help, comments suggestion and 2 cents appreciated.

I think for what is worth Find a good saddle maker& explain to him what you require I 've found that this is the best way to get what you want! Or I should say there would be a number of good leather smiths Who would be able to do the job as you require

If you haven't found anything yet, try Oklahoma Leather. They do custom and the prices on standard cowboy holsters is about $25. I talked to them about a holster for my 5 1/2 Ruger Bisley. They were very nice and said to bring it in. I am going to stop by with it one of these days (60 mi). Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions; I went and bought a custom rig that a fellow needed to get rid of, so I picked it up for much less than ordering it new, which it was anyway. Took a chance that it was my size and it was, now my Remmies are at the gunsmith being slicked up and fitted with Kirst conversion cylindars.
