Hi, I'm hoping to get some input on purchasing a scope for my new Remington Model Seven SS .308. I'm looking for a light weight scope, 3-9x40, preferably US made (under $225.00). Does anyone have any suggestions? Or any input on comparing the "Rifleman 3-9x40mm" to "VX-I 3-9x40mm" both Leopold scopes?

definitely go with the VX-I if you are going to get one or the other ...
