I wish all of you a safe and happy holiday. The good folks on this board are always helpful and respectful and I really appreciate all of you. All the best...
Gil
Mondays, regardless of holidays, is my day to work at the local gunrange. Will most probably be swamped with shooters up 'til its time to fire up the "barbie" and go settle in to watch fireworks.
Ya'll be safe on the roads.
I too will be at the range.....helping my youngest son (31) to get ready for the shooting qualification for his concealed weapon permit. Shouldn't be too hard as they use a 25 yd timed/rapid fire target and you only have to score 70 points. The easy part is you shoot slow fire and get 10 minutes for 10 shots and the rapid fire 7 ring on the tartet is 11 inches diameter. Interesting that factory loads are required and you must shoot the cartridge the firearm is identified with....that is, a .44 mag. revolver can not shoot .44 special and .357 mag. revolver can not shoot .38s.
And as Gil said, be safe. Don't be in a hurry, as they say, the life you save may be your own.

Right on, have a great weekend all of you citizens of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. While your friends in other countries might sometimes pull their hair out because of your politicians', er, less-than-optimum performance  , I hope that we find time on Monday to thank God for the incalculable good that America and Americans have done for the world for over 200 years.
God bless America.

gomer,
Don't be supprised, we have many friends in foreign countries. Not all citizens of those countries agree with what their government says, A lot of them don't have the freedom to voice their opinions like we do.
