I shot the open sight target yesterday and the scoped one today. I think it will show in the pic which is which. The 100 yd scoped one I shot today is really not that bad for the 44 mag but I did have to go with jacketed bullets. That 220 gr Sierra FPJ is some bullet.

I sent one target on Tuesday and I'm mailing out two targets today. All three are "hunter" class. I feel very confident that they should secure me a solid last place spot :( :rolleyes: . My lever gun shooting skills have gotten rusty over the summer. I can't seem to get 5 shots together. As frustrating as it is, I'm enjoying the shooting (finally). I hope to get a few more targets shot before the deadline and hopefully I can improve a bit.

Michael, it seems I neglected to indicate that the target I sent a couple days ago was fired at 50 yds with Lyman 17 & 66 sights, fore & aft. I ain't proud of the target, but at least the old rusty Marlin that followed me home is showing signs of improvement!
