Here's an article describing the incoherent political thinking which Dave H has warned us about:

I didn't know about this, Dave, thanks for posting.

My pleasure Richard ! We will not yeild to this sort of thing anymore ! I have fought them & are still fighting for the rights of the average shooter ! They have never dared to touch us Pro's due to the revenue that we supply them but I'm tired of seeing a way of life being eroded away in Australia

1. They sure didn't learn from our U.S. experience that showed the crime rate wasn't affected.
2. Just how much time to they think it takes to change magazines? A couple seconds, thus for all practical purposes, the smaller magazines have almost no effect.
3. The thing that really caught my eye, and surprised me that they would even be honest enough to say it was ""These types of guns should not be in the hands of everyday sporting or recreational shooters" What the heck is wrong with the "everyday/recreational shooter" lever action rifles having five or more rounds? Doesn't make any sense at all.

It's not about sense, it's about CONTROL. Just one more incremental step toward complete and total confiscation. There's method to their madness!

Doesn't your country have some kind of law which calls men to arms during invasion or war to bring their own arms that are modernand up to date ! If so maybe this law is not legal ! JAGG
