Do the Rockriver and Bushmaster rifles in .223 compare favorably or does one company have a better product with similar pricing?
Thanks,
Dan

Can't help you with Rockriver but, I bought a Bushmaster years ago, just into the postban era. configured it in a national match with the flutted barrel etc and have been very happy with the rifle. Seems to me that Bushmaster is the one setting the bar now for the others. Just my $.02

I compared both of the Varmint models. The RR trigger was much better than the Bushy. The BM does have chrome-lined barrel and the RR does not.
I bought the RR and paid about $100 less than similar BM and don't regret it.
Sub-MOA with BlackHills bluebox ammo.

I'm on my third Bushie!
Great guns, and after about a thousand rounds the trigger gets better.
All three of mine have been without flaws in feeding and function.
