I want to load some Barnes x Bullets in mt Browning Bar 30.06.Anyone out there have any good load info? Looking at the 150XBT
My advice would be to get the Barnes manual, it's a good investment. The loads in it are tailored for their bullets which, as a departure from other bullets, can take loads that are quite different from a conventional bullet.
Since you are using an auto, I'd stay with the quicker powders. I don't have experience with the BAR, but I know a Rem 7400 can have problems with the slower burning stuff...or at least that's what I attributed it to at the time.
