Anyone read this month's F&S yet? Mr. Petzal had some really usefull write ups. From a real world scope test on scopes that I personally can afford, to a great bullet test on the most common premium bullets being offered today. This guy's writing style and choice of topics is really hitting home with me. There was also a lot of good deer hunting info in this mag. I have two buddies that will be hunting for the first times in their life this season. They are both gonna get a copy of this issue from me. If any of you have friends that are about to start deer hunting this issue was quite the "deer 101" . Most gun rags these days are just that, lately F&S have been better than average, at least IMO.If you don't subscribe I'd really encourage you to go to the store and pick this issue up. Anybody else enjoy it as much as I did?

You can occasionally get a free subscription to F&S online if you look around for a bit. I liked the tips about how to divert newbie hunters from your prime hunting area too ;)

I have that issue, I liked the bullet tests and only wish they had included the Speer Grand Slam.
