Has anyone tried this cal in Wolf? the 7.62 is ok but have heard bad reports on other cals. I have a Saiga 308.

heck yeah man. S-308 is the shiznit! ive got one in 762 also. i have had good luck with the wolf 308 ammo. It doesnt hold up against the australian in my opinion, but its still good stuff. It is much better than a lot of the "cheap stuff" out there.

Thanks for the info. What size groups do you get with the Aussie ammo? What does it cost? The 308 Saiga is a great gun. Its a big improvement over the older design. Have you bee able to get any type of hi cap mags?

Best el-cheapo NATO surplus I've shot was made in the UK. Worst was made in Greece. Not meant to sound insulting to Greeks, just the plain facts.

WOLF ammo is okay but 3.5 to 5.5 inch groups at 100 yards is best I could produce. In contrast, same rifle with the UK ammo typically shot a consistant 2 to 2.75 inch group at 100 yards.

I bought both cans of ammo from Sportsman's Guide.
