View Full Version : Leupold "Cascade" Binoculars
I am considering buying a pair of Leupold Cascade binoculars. Has anybody had any experience with them? Jeff.

I would not buy the Wind River Cascades. They are not phase-corrected and will not have the contrast and resolution of a roof prism binoculars with phase-correction and comparable glass. There are more than enough brands and models of phase-corrected roof prism binoculars to choose from to be limiting oneself to inferior binoculars.
Cost about the same or less:
Nikon Monarch ATB
Bushnell Legend
Olympus Magellan EXWP I
Eagle Optics Denali PC
Celestron Noble
Audubon Equinox HP
Minolta Activa D WP XL
Somewhat more but worth it:
Wind River Olympic or Pinnacles
Eagle Optics Ranger Platinum Class
Celestron Regal LS or LX
Bushnell Discoverer
Swift HHS Audubon 8.5x44mm
Brunton Eterna
Vortex Stokes Broadwing
