Hi

I want to buy a handgun scope from US but what is not possible...
They say thats not legal?.. Hello ? If I want to buy a scope, I have allready the gun!!!!!?!!!
And I want to export it to Sweden,Europe... To one of the worlds most faint-hearted countrys with one of the worlds most hard rules for guns..........
Here you can only have 6 rifles... beg on your knee for every handgun.

Bye!

(Sigh!)

Strange rules made by strange, unthinking people is all I can say!

I'd be in deep doo-doo if the 6 rifle rule were enforced in this country!

What, they don't want you to see what you're shooting at? Kinda strange? Or is it you can't buy it from the U.S. but can other European countries?

I'm not very fond of Ebay, but it might be what you are looking for. There are people selling Handgun scopes on there and shipping them worldwide.

Seems funny that optics would be illegal. It seems to me like there would be taxes on it, but you know your laws better than I do.

For a little money, the French might help you out. I mean if the French can get missiles to Iraq under sanctions, then getting a piece of glass over your border should be no problem at all.

What you want is a scope for a shot-gun that has long eye relief. They do allow shot guns I hope? Then mount it on your pistol. Should work.

Why not one of the Aimpoint dot type sights? They are made in Sweden, and have an excellent reputation.

Mrhunter I think you should move here to America, become a citizen, and then buy your scope and several more firearms. We could then send your country two Clintons or a few Kennedys to take your place over there, as I'm sure they won't be missed over here!

I would move to day if I could.... It should be nice to use a firearm without get angry eyes at you and they always take you for a criminal, only for you want to use your gun...
But mayby some day!?!?!

Mr. Hunter,

I don't know if you've made your order yet, but check out D&R Sports:

https://www.dnrsports.net/miva/merchant.mv?Screen=SFNT&Store_Code=DSC

They have some really great prices on all their optics. I'm looking at getting a Burris Handgun Scope 2-7x with Ballistic Plex reticle myself. I've looked around a good bit, and haven't seen them beat on price yet. Don't know about international shipping though. You could email ( mkomoroski@aol.com (mkomoroski@aol.com) )/call ( 570-735-1752 ) to find out.

Glad to see that Sweden has a few firearm enthusiasts keeping the sport alive.

Regards.

Mr. Hunter,

Sorry to hear of your woes in Sweden...I'm actually of Swedish descent myself ... who knows, may go for a visit there someday.

Well our gas isn't getting any cheaper, but we do have a very strong ally in the NRA against the anti-gun lobby. I am a member of the NRA and so my money and my votes go toward the cause of freedom. However, we have to remain vigilant as there are powerful opponents who would like to eradicate our rights to gun ownership and hunting. The news media likes to refer to the NRA as an extremist group, which could not be further from the truth. It's rather comical to watch members of the news media or the anti-gun groups when they try to debate specifics...they don't know what they are talking about, and so they fall on their face each time. However, their usual tactic is not to debate, since they don't want debate. They just drum-beat their lying anti-gun message to the general public as if it is perfectly true. That's one reason why Fox News became so popular so quickly. They believe in "Fair and Balanced" reporting...something the other news channels can't comprehend.

Keep the chin up. The best way to ensure gun freedom in Sweden is to encourage active participation in the shooting sports by the young people. When enough of the population wants something, they will get it.
