Some pics of Matt in Iraq. I couldn't be more proud. His job is to pick fights and win. He's in the win category. NO TROOPS LOST. Semper fi.

May God bless all of our wonderful men and women who serve their country in honor, courage, and justice. May God bless all of them and their families.
I pray that they get home very soon with their missions and objectives well-accomplished!

Matt says kids are great, gotta love them. Also largest weapon cache captured to date, then Boom! JP
Thanks for your kind comments and support for our boys.
It sounds corney but his platoon has gained the name "the regulators".

It is fantastic you have your boy home. I have not heard from mine for a couple weeks now and it is getting a little tough. I know they are busy and things are heating up for the election Sat. We should hear from him next week.
My prayers are with all those brave young men in harms way so I can lay my head down each night knowing they are not just standing ready but performing what must be done to keep me free.

My son-in-law just called, woke us up, and it was great to hear from him. His mom and I needed it bad.
Very Glad Matt is home and Chief I hope your son is able to make contact soon.
I can't believe what we put or mom's through when we were young. I'm glad the guys and gals can call now! There just wasn't any of that in my time, gone a year and now I hurt for what my mom went through.

Great news about Matt! In boot we had 7 DI's and 3 officers. Only one was a combat vet from the 1CAV. I credit his savvy for my survival.

Hi guy's, thanks! Matt is staying in country now to train new troops. Sorry to say the platoon that replaced them lost 4 boys the 1st month, damb!. So Matt's new job is to train them. He'd better do well!! Time to put a serious hurt on Al Quaida.
