Greetings from Texas,
Im new to this site so bear with me. I have an old Beretta al-2-20ga.The gun is in pristine condition and a joy to shoot. The Dove season opener is closing fast and the gun is jamming after the first shot.Yes the gun is clean, gas ports are clear. Sometimes it doesnt eject the spent shell or it jams as the next shell is transiting to the bbl. Any ideas on what the **** is happening? I shoot both high and low brass. This gun worked flawless for me for years and now im having this problem. Ive checked everything i can think of. Any ideas?

Thanks for any help in advance.
Sincerely, Woodman

Is it a gas operated auto or is an old recoil style auto. With some of the older recoil style autos the spring sometimes looses its springyness. I guess that how you would say it. If it is a gas operated gun maybe the o-rings have finnaly hit the bucket.
These are a couple guesses, I am not very familiar with the old beretta autos.

Good luck.

Sounds like you're shooting loads too light for the action, but you've tried high brass, too, so that's not it.

Do the simple stuff first, check the ports and chamber again for blockage and check to see that you've re-assembled her correctly.

I learned to shoot shotguns as a boy with my Dad's 20ga AL-2 - they're sweet.
