Yeah lots of people are talking about their CCI stuff but personally for cost-effectiveness I really think that Remington Yellow Jackets are the best. The muzzle velocity is only 140 fps. less than CCI stingers, and they pack 30 less ft.-lbs. However, you pay $4 for a box of the Stingers and the Yellow Jackets are only $2.50. If you want accuracy, I shoot a Marlin 980S with a BSA scope and I've hit squirrels out to 125 yards. The bullets themselves are crazy because they have an extremely deep hollowpoint and the walls of the hollowpoint are not as thick as others so you get violent expansion yet the bullets mushroom like premium centerfire bullets. I dont think theres much of a comparison.

I agree that Yellow Jackets are really effective .22's. The bullet design makes for very reliable expansion. Accuracy is good. They function in everything I've tried them in, pistols and rifles, auto, bolt and lever. They are cheap and widely available. They are what I use when I need a little more stopping power in a .22.

Sorry guy's, Tried some yellow jackets out of a Mod. 60 marlin and my old JC Higgins .22, Fed well in semi auto and functioned in single shot bolt, but, they didn't come close as far as accuracy. Each rifle is way to much like a women, likes and dislikes. Thanks for the chance to try something different though women are not that forgiving. I'll stick w/ CCI. JP
P.S. Price depends on how and where you buy.
