What do you guys think of this pistol? It is a brand new one that just arrived Friday and I am suppose to pick it up tomorrow. I am not commited to buying it so I can still back out. I have heard that there were problems with the early models but were worked out. Is this a good pistol. I am going to use it as a carry gun and for plinkling around with. I have no experience with semi autos at all, I have always had revolvers. Looking for some reviews.
Thanks

Had one a couple of years ago for about a month. function was ok but shot 8 inches low and 10 inches left at 15 feet. Couldn't get it to work of me. Went back to my Detonics .45.
Hope you have better luck with yours. Alan

After I put up this thread I found an article on Shooting Times where they had done a review of this pistol. They were getting around 2" groups at 50 feet and even got the Federals 165gr to group 1.88". What was the recoil like on this small weapon? Did the small size of the grips make it difficult to hold on to or uncomfortable to shoot? As far as accuracy goes, I have read nothing but good things about them.
Thanks for your response.
Would like to hear from anyone that has ever even fired one.

The Detonics I use is smaller than the Taurus. The recoil was very managable. The wide grip back was one of the things that appealed to me. I think I just got a bum piece. It wasn't new when I bought it.
I was expecting it to be better than it was. Other than the point of aim issue it shot OK, no missfires or malfunctions in the 100 rounds I put through it.

From what I've heard, it depends on if it's a Millennium or a Millennium Pro. The Pro series was developed to correct the problems found in the Millenniums. When you go to pick it up, make sure it says Millennium Pro on the slide.
