Just came by a Dectonics Pocket Nine --interesting piece but I don't have a clue on how to take it down to clean it--any help would be welcome.

We had one of those come through the lab a few months back, and I remember it being a absolute bear to break down. You really need a third and maybe a fourth hand to get it apart, and they can't be big meathook hands either.
Here's a site
http://www.biggerhammer.net/detonics/
that deals with everything Detonics made. It's also got a discussion forum on it, so you might be able to find someone who knows a trick or three about tearing them down.
Good luck!
