I just purchased a Ruger Redhawk in 44 magnum and would like to mount a red-dot scope on it. In shopping around, however, I've noticed that they all utilize a 30mm tube, and I cannot seem to locate 30mm rings.

Does anyone know where I could get 30mm rings for a Ruger Redhawk? I haven't checked in the most obvious place; Ruger. I'm going to do that after I post this message. I did go through the whole Midway catalog in search of them, however, and came up empty handed.

Definately call Ruger at their Conn. number. Explain to them what you want to do and they will swap out the rings at no charge. Have for me, anyway.

Not too long ago I purchased a Ruger #1B, and also purchased a set of Ruger 30mm rings for this rifle. It might be possible to get them from Ruger, check their website...

Been a few years, but Ruger was exchanging 1" rings for 30mm rings for the price of shipping.
