Has anybody used one of these yet? I was thinking about getting one but I was kind of wondering if anybody else has used one & what kind of results they have had. I like the idea of taking out two more steps of trimming. Looks like quite the handy little gadget. Here's a link for it. http://www.rcbs.com/default.asp?menu=1&s1=4&s2=4&s3=43

I bought one not long ago and tried it out. It works. The result isn't as precise and pretty as what I get when I trim by hand with the Lee stuff, but it correctly takes all the edges off. It definitely seems like a time saver to me.

The setup is a little time consuming. Once you get everything adjusted, you can leave it that way and get started right away the next time. However, RCBS also sells individual pilot / chamfer cutters, which are a cheaper way to go, but you'll have to set them up each time. If you want to save time, buy a whole cutter head for each caliber you intend to use.

It is on my list of things to get in the future, I am not sure yet if it comes before or after a jewelling setup. I don't trim very often, just because it is a pain to do
