Dear group,
Hello, group!
I just came across a very unique "Automatic Revolver" called the Mateba Model 6 Unica made in Italy.
I can no wear near afford it, but I am just curious as to where I can purchase it in the future one day.
I've looked all over the place, but I can't really find it sold anywhere ...
Any help to its whereabouts is very much appreciated, gentlemen! :) Thank you!
God bless,
Joshua Smith

Hmm.... looks like the classic 'ethnic joke' revolver!
Interesting idea, though, to get the bore of the gun lower in the hand. Don't see any reason it won't work.... just looks sorta odd!

Saw them also in KY Imports catalog some time back. Did a search now and they didn't have any in their web site, but a call to them can't hurt. Sometimes they have stuff that is not on their flyers because they don't have too many.

Them guns are really fast shooters.
If using them in .38 sp is fast and accurate
It's a stable firing piece.
Dunno what it does in .44 Mag though.
My gun-retailer has one, but thats of no use to you.
They look little odd, but maybe you'd want to investigate
the entire mateba line of revolvers.
in the past they had a model which had the cilinder before
the trigger-guard, instead of above.
(A huge piece, but fast and easy shooter)

But that's just it, though ... I can't find anything on any of the revolvers! :(
The Mateba website was pitiful and had hardly any info.
Could you provide me a website or other resource that has information regarding the Mateba revolvers?
Would you also happen to have pictures of the rest of the Mateba line of revolvers?
They seem annoyingly allusive!
Any help is greatly appreciated!
God bless,

Mr Smith...
Would this be of help
http://www.geocities.com/vsakogar/ven4-orozjenovo/slika67.html
http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/all.htm
The second link-->> scroll to "M"
and hyperlink....
Indeed the manufacturers site is pathetic, it was better one year ago.
(I was at that time thinking of a Mateba.)
But I dropped the idea in favor of a multicaliber pistol
in 9mmluger, 10mm auto and .45 acp

That's one really ugly gun. It looks heavy to boot. It would certianly bring some comment at the range though. Only thing you could do to make it more interesting is wear white face paint a red nose and clown shoes when you shoot it.
All kidding aside it looks like someone went to a lot of trouble to combine an auto with a revolver. Something like the old Webly-Fosbury semi-auto. Lots of moving stuff there.
Looks like the ultimate action shooting revolver. Low barrel and heavy mass will all but eliminate all recoil (the barrel rise part at least) with proper loads. With a decent trigger you could school a decent auto shooter with a revolver like that.
