Hi all,

I was wondering what you guys use to sight in a hunting pistol from a bench. Should I buy a plain sand back rest, or spend more money for a mechanical rest, such as outers pistol perch, ect. Any help would be great.

Van., I use a couple of bags of lead shot instead of sand bags. I've had sand bags rupture due to cylinder blast, and what a mess that made. Plus, its a lot cheaper than a 'store bought' rest.
