Been trying to find a scope mount for a pre '64 model 94 that connects to the barrel band and rear sight dovetial. Got a good tip from william iorg in the Winchester 94 forum section for a Burris LU94 but was wondering if there are any other solutions. I thought there must be some different ideas as there are so many old 94's out there. Any comments welcome. Thanks...Y

There are side mounts that use the existing holes in the receiver and do not require D&T.
Weaver used to make them and Williams may still do

Thanks Frank. I didn't know about the side mount. I have a Leupold 2X EER that I would like to use but if that doesn't work I may use the Williams with a standard eye relief scope.
