I'm looking for a specialty barrel for a Remington 870, either a custom made barrel, or a gunsmith that can modify to what I want. Haven't found a decent gunsmith in my area. I'm looking for either an 18" or 20" vent ribbed barrel set up for a Rem Choke and will shoot 3" shells. If anyone has ever seen such a barrel, or knows of someone that could modify one, I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks

Simple! Buy an 28" Vent Rib Express barrel (or send in your present rib barrel)......send it to Mike Orlen.......He will cut it at 21" (front of the rib post)......reinstall the choke tubes and sight........We have it done quite often on our Rem. 870 Express guns.........they pattern great!......James @ Dixie Slugs
