SVW is the manufacturers marking, in Nazi code. SVW designates Spreewerk which was one of three plants making the P-38. 45 is year of manufacture. The Eagle markig is the "Waffenamt:, or indication of German army ownership during the Nazi era.
CAI ST A VT is Century Arms, Inc. St. Albans, Vermont, the importer. Germany is the required country of origin designator. These are required importation markings these days.
