I am holding a Winchester Model 94 - 30 W.C.F.

Serial # 128****

I am trying to find out some information about this rifle. I have been searching on the net but cannot seem to find just what I am looking into. I know nothing about this really except it is an old side sadle.

I have added a side view. The site is unknown to myself and seems to be missing something.

www.savage99.com indicates your rifle was made in 1943 - 1948.

How about adding a few more numbers of the serial?
1941 started at # 1,238,585
&
1942 at 1,287,469.
