This is quite general and a little late, but the M37 Win was a semi-hammerless single shot that is now quite collectable. There are Red "W" versions that are desirable, especially. A decent condition shooter will bring $125+ in this area. They were made in all gauges and when discontinued, the M3700 replaced them and then the 37A replaced the 3700 in the early 70's.
I had the honor of a double on Ringneck Pheasant with one in the late 60's. It was borrowed from my late brother and it is in posession of his son now.
a little info anyway and maybe someone else will shake loose with back to the top.

The Winchester Model 37 was discontinued in 1963. I have one that is like new in 16 gauge that is identical to the one my brother used to start hunting in 1958. I was able to get it at a local gun shop for $59.00. I have seen these same shotguns offered for sale for over $200.00.

This shotgun has an exposed hammer that needs to be cocked to fire the shotgun. I am confused by the other post that refers to it as a "semi-hammerless". All the best...
