Well I'm just gettting into reloading & wanted to try & reload my favorite load...I love the Black Hills Blue Box 52gr .223 match rounds. What would be the equivelent of this load if I were to reload...What powder & bullet?

I assume you are refering to the reman match HP's?
First get a chrono reading of that bullets velocity. Then get into your manuals and find out where approx. that velocity puts your powder choices with that bullet. I am guessing that it would be somthing like BL-C2, Benchmark or Varget....but I could be wrong.
52 gr. BTHP match grade bullets are available from Sierra and Hornady, plus I am sure there are others...but those two would be the ones I would get...100 of each would cost no more than 12 bucks.
But the chrono would be needed for sure...a nice Beta Master costs less than 150...Cabela's has 'em for 140 plus s&h..and its one tool that never gets enough run with reloading...

I agree with the cookiemonster that a chrony is essential to match performance of a specified round. Even then you will only match the speed. To be absolutely exact you'll need to know what kind of bullets, powder, and primer Black Hills uses.
While the Beta chrony is great, you can get into it a bit cheaper with an Alpha model which will also do the job has fewer options.

My Ruger M77MkII V/T in ss has a love affair with the 52 gr Speer FBHP over 27.0 gr of Varget and a CCI BR4 primer. Chrono's at 3250 fps. Not a sizzler, but extremely accurate.

kdub -- I'm curious, is that a compressed load? I've been using 50gr Nolser BT's and 26.0 grains Varget; good accuracy, but some books listed the max load as 27.5gr. When I loaded to 26.5gr, it's real close to the case mouth already, and I'm not sure another grain of powder will even fit! Haven't fired them yet, but it has me wondering...

if you go to the shooting chrony website, they have refurbished units for about 50 bucks if I remember right. The beauty of reloading is that you can try a limitless number of combinations to find the combination that give you exactly what you want
Use a 24" long tube on the funnel and trickle the powder into the case. The load is slightly compressed. No problem seating the bullet, but there's no rattle when you shake it! This fills the case to just at the bottom of the neck.
