Howdy all,
I have a remington M14 in 32Rem. It does not feed the flat point bullets very well. I do have some older HP remington rounds that do fit and feed well. They are a sort of short, fat HP round. Any leads on .321 diameter bullets that are no flat point (RN or some of the HP like these)

Any chance of finding the Remington .32 Special Core-Lokt. The catalogue shows it has a round nose, but the Western Canadian mail-order outfits don't list it in bulk. Perhaps one of the big American outfits has it.

8mm are .323 slug your bbl and determine if you can use. Anything made for the .32 win special or .32-40 are .321 unfortunately they dropped many loadings made in the past like the HPs and 150gn loadings. I was lucky this past year to pick up 100 once fired 38-55 cases with the remington headstamp. These are of the correct length for the cal, unlike the winchester cases which are shorter than the originals. Does the M14 have the spiral mag like the M141? If so it can take the pointed bullets. The spiral grooves were made to offset the bullets so they would not detonate in the magazine, ala .300 savage chambered in that weapon.

Rem M14 indeed does have the spiral mag. I have plenty of brass for it in 32 and 30 remington. It just has sporadic feeding problems with FP when working the action quickly. I like to be able to rock and roll! All I can find for handloading is .321 Flat Point.

Jack,
What MO company is that? I just can't find .321 bullets in anything but 170gr. FP

I shoot 170 Hornady #3210 and Speer 170gr #2259 In my Model 14 and have no problems with them. It shoots the speers a little more accurately but it's hard for me to tell the difference because the gun's all original and my old eyes are the limiting factor with the open sights.

I have the same problem with my Model 14,it just will not feed the flat point bullets. Mine are the Hornady 170 grain. I've tried seating the bullet deeper ,but still does'nt work. Its very accurate,if I feed them one at a time--1Longbow

My Rem 14 loves Hornady #3210 & Speer #2259's. They are both .321 FP but I haven't experienced any problems with feeding.

Hawk makes the bullet you are looking for, a .321" 170 gr round nose specifically for the .32 Rem. They are around $33 per 50. Go to their website for more details.
