i have this pistol i would very much like to try, but i am in need of load help here,,,i think it was made in the late fifties or early sixties by hy hunter,hollywood calif  buccanneer model, i have a lot of percussion arms but no flinters....any help out there ?

  Check out the thread about 4 below this one, "Squirrel Rifle Flinter Fun", for some flinter info. I don't know anyone besides Dixie that would have a ball big enough, but somebody else should. It might take a 12 or 16 gauge ball.
