Does anyone out there know anything about Belding & Mull Scopes? I have a Remingtion Model 12A slide action 22 and mounted on it is a 3X Belding & Mull scope. It has a post sight and to make any adjustments on the scope you move the whole scope the optics do not move. My question is how old of a scope is this and what value would it have? Thanks MEvans

Don't quote me, but I believe that you are probably looking at the 30's or 40's. Even their loading equipment was pretty much phased out by the late 1960's.

You probably have the 3x "marksman" model. These were still listed in their 1950 catalog, but I don't know when the production run started or stopped. My stepfather is a Mull relative, so I have a whole bunch of Belding and Mull stuff. We have two of these 3x scopes and a bunch of their reloading equipment. I don't know what it would be worth.
