help, Anybody know anything about kimber bases? I want to get burris short mag 2x7 to mount on 8400 montana kimber. What height and will they fit the bases?

I have a kimber 84 M in 308 ,and used burris medium rings with a mueller 3x9x40 red dot and it just clears the bolt handle. I am experiencing horizontal bullet stringing otherwise they would all be in one hole. any advice.

the guys here in the rifle scope section can probably help. Check all your screw mounts . snug the back one and tighten the front one down. You can get the psi from the kimber sight I believe. Other than that try scrubbing the barrel out with copper solvent per directions. Get a good solvent not the cheap stuff. good luck.
