Comparing a pre 17 K22 smith wesson (6"barrel) revolver and the Colt Officers Model Match (6" barrel) and the Colt Diamondback( 6" barrel) revolvers which one is the most accurate and smoothest action .This is for hunting pruposes.

Given the choice of the three, I prefer the S&W, as the gip feels better. All three will shoot to point of aim when fed ammo that they like. The Officers model may feel a little lighter and smoother out of the box, but with a trigger job, the Smith would be my favorite.

As far as hunting goes, I would probably go for the Ruger Single Six.

Lot of people just don't like the DA feel of the Colts ; different than S&W's in that Colt's seems to just stack up differntly....not better or worse, just different (I happen to like the Colt feel for DA shooting, but like the S&W design for SA fire).

OF the three you list, if given good conditon, would bet on the OLD S&W or the Colt...made back when .22Revovlers were more likely to be "real" target guns, they usually were pretty smooth.
