I got the new kimber,montana scoped with a burris short mag. When I got the scope from bear basin it was too short to mount on the rifle. I took it in to rayco sales a local gun store and they put new rings with and extender on it . It turned out nice and the whole setup is great. Just a little perturbed they didn't send the right set up when I ordered it as they ask what rifle and model you have and are supposed to send accordingly. I e-mailed bear basin and they sent an e-mail back asking what model I had which I told them before. Well maybe their trying to make it right. At any rate it's my day off tommorrow and I'll be heading to the range to break it in. The rings are clear of the receiver opening and all looks well. I'll be taking it deer hunting after thankgiving dinner. We take two large crab boats down near Sitka Alaska and slowly hunt our way back to Juneau, Ak. Starting to get amped up.
