I am looking at the Howa 1500 in 22-250. It is very competatively priced, but i do not know much about them. Can anyone shead some light, or have opinions good and bad.

I had one in .223 and it was a tackdriver. Traded it toward a good shotgun. The guy who got it put a Bushnell Elite on it and really liked it. The company has had a few major recalls on their rifles, and that concerned me. But I never had any major problems with it, and I bought it used. Its made by a Japanese Company, the same one I think that puts out the Weatherby Vanguards.
