Hello all,

just thought I'd share a pic or two of yesterday's pheasant hunt. We did well, taking 7 roosters, 4 hens and 2 chuckar.
We hunted at warriors mark wingshooting lodge and kennel (http://www.warriorsmark.com/index.html)
I hunted with two really great guys from my firehouse. They used 12 guages, I started with an old Stevens 16 SxS, but it was not putting them down. Switched to my 12 O/U

It's my second time to this preserve, and I plan on making it a constant!

Enjoy the pics.....

Chris~
Here's the land we hunted. over 3200acres of private land

Thanks;

I'm told thos Idaho pheasants will give you a run for your money too ;)

I enjoy upland sooooo much more than any other form of hunting. Granted, there's no replacement for a great deer camp, but there's just sumthin about a gunmetal grey autumn sky, a light fall breeze and a great dog.....
