My youngest son has just finished SERE school (Survival, Evade, Resistance, and Escape) as part of his training for Special Forces. I gathered it was hard work and he is glad to have it behind him. He and his wife should be home in another 11 days for 2 weeks leave. Her family lives in our home town which is making vacation for them easier. Now he has his specialty training and language training coming up when he goes back. He will be applying for credit through the college he attended when he enlisted and looks like he should be very close to his four year degree. I am so proud and just wanted to share it with my friends.

These young men are definitely America's best. It is a job that is not for everybody but thank God this generation seems to have a handle on what freedom costs. Some thought they would not.

I am so proud of them!
