I'm in the process of building a rifle. Well actually kinda still getting everything lined up but i know who is going to build it and so on. This rifle is going to be strictley for target shooting. I want to go with a benchrest styel stock. Can someone give me some websites to visit. I'm looked around but cannont find anyone who sells these.

If your interested in a wood stock either laminated or regular wood in a bench rest style this outfit has done me well and their prices are reasonalble. These stocks are for bolt action rifles and can be inletted for a lot of different styles.

If your going for a composite bench rest stock which is now what is mostly used you'll need to do a search under benchrest stocks. That will give you several sources of supply.

If your planning on competing in bench rest competition to be competitive your going to have to spend some money. I would emagine between 2 and 3 grand to be competitive on the biggining level.

If your just planning for a gun to target shoot without competing it would me less.

Dont plan on doing any competing. Just some serious target shooting.
