Allright, I understand that a 1:10 means one revolution for every ten inches of flight, but is saying that my barrel has a 10" rate of twist just a different way of saying the same thing? Probably a dumb question, but I'm doing some bullet selection right now, and that is the only spec I can find on my barrel. Thanks guys.

The 1:10 in the rifle stays the same. The "one revolution of the bullet every 10" of flight." doesn't.
Forward speed is lost faster than rotational speed, so what starts as "1 revolution per 10" of flight." changes to "... per 9"..." "...per 8" (7", 6", 5"...0") It wasn't the question, but so what?
