I am possibly going to put a regular scope on my SRH 480
and I can't decide which ont ot go with silver or matte scope
on it. Anyone have either and pics that could post one so
I could help me choose what one looks best.Thanks

matte ... always matte, no matter what ... :D

Well here's my SRH with an aimpoint red dot, 30mm Millet rings and factory grips. I've used several scopes and as I get older am able to hold the red dot still, at least it looks still compared to looking thru a scope held out at arms length.

Oh, mine is a 44 mag. The Aimpoint has been on for several thousand rounds and is holding up well. I like the Millet rings as they are windage adjustable and Ruger's are not.
