Jack,
I can understand locking the wolf thread because it is such a touchy subject, but it certainly was not a "flame war" from my side (and I suspect Shawn's side too). I think that my views are simply outlandish compared to most hunters and bring strong retort. Notice that my first post was critical about the "Wolves never kill people" statement, but because I stated I'm a wolf supporter, I was subjected to critisism. If wolf subjects are tabboo, or if wolf support is tabboo, then I'll be glad to comply.

Shawn,
I guess we'll have to get together at a different social place to discuss things further, so we can understand each other better. I'll buy.

See ya'll in the woods.

The point is that you and Shawn are chewing over this issue for over half a dozen posts without any resolution. There's no point in continuing at this rate. Letting this go on is no good for the Beartooth forums or it's members and I've seen this sort of antagonism damage too many other forums.

Bye
Jack

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't see it as antagonistic. Sorry for the mistake. :)

Jack's right, the discussion likely was going nowhere. So, sorry all for having to endure it. boreal and I just have to accept that we disagree and leave it at that. And that's the end of it for me....

Enough about wolves...

How about those dang cougars that are eating all the elk???!!!

I say...let's trap and release them in suitable habitat.

Trap them in the mountains and release them in downtown Seattle!
