I just ordered a new 94 legacy with a 26" octagon barrel and tang sight, and I was wondering what kind of accuracy I can expect from it. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip - the article is great! So it looks like I should be able to do about an inch and a half with the tang sights - assuming I do my part. I look forward to shooting Hornady's new pointed .30-30 rounds through this rig.

Let us know how it odes if you could. I keep thinking of that 30-30 myself.

I'll be interested in your opinions when you get a chance to shoot it. I've ordered some of the new Hornady LEVERevolution ammo and look forward to comparing it to the Winchester 150 Gr.

Mine is case colred also, but unfortunately the one that came in had several wear marks/scratches near the muzzle so I had the store send it back and order me a new one. Very nice looking rifle though.

I can't wait to try the new hornady ammo in this. I'll keep you posted, though it seems that it will take a while for the new gun to arrive.
