I'm searching for a Leupold low powered variable scope. I'm between a new VXII 1.5-4x20 and a Leupold European 30 in 1.25-4x20. My first choice would be a German #4 reticle, but I see two different reticles described as Leupold's German #4. Does anyone here actually have a Leupold with this reticle and can tell me which is correct?

EX "A" is the German #4. I have one sittin' attop a Bushmaster .223.Mine is the 6.5 X 20 Leupold. Used it for long range yotes up in Maine. Just took a look thru mine and it seems that the thick crosshairs come closer to the center of the "X" though. This reticule seems to pull your eye to the center very quickly. Also very good in reduced light conditions.------pruhdlr
