Guys tommorow I have the opertunity to take a guy hunting for the first time! He is one of my best friends and I couldn't be happier. All the pratice and such has been done and tommorow is HIS big day. This is truly a blessing to get the opertunity to bring another into our ranks. Please be thinking about him tommorow and say a prayer if you feel so inclined, I really want to get him hooked. Oh and I'm getting him started right, He'll be using my Marlin 1895GS :D Nothing like a levergun shooting beartooth bullets to get someone started.

Make sure he's done his homework and gotten used to your gun. Remember, it's as much more than the gun and the bullet. It's mostly the guy behind the trigger.

Well, I think we have another one hooked! He saw two does early in the morning, but they were in a thicket that was too thick to pick a good shot through, already making good descisons. The biggest thrill I got was him telling me "I get 'it' now" He said he finally understood what people meant when they said they could sit all day in the woods and still have the time of their lives even if they didn't get to shoot anything. I'm so happy right now.
