The Monday after Thanksgiving is the first day of gun season in OH. I am getting on an airplane Sunday morning and flying to Orlando, FL for a week long business trip.

My property is surrounded by farm land and the adjoining 300 acres is leased to a hunt club. I saw 5 guys setting up tree stands and pouring buckets of corn on the ground about 20 yards from their stands. I have my property posted but I doubt they will heed the signs. 3 stands are within 10 yards of my property. I won't even be around to keep them honest. I have recently seen the big buck that has adopted my place as a haunt and it's doubtful I'll get a crack at him.

My condolences, flashhole, and I know how you feel. I have had to give up a few elk seasons in the past due to work, and vowed to never let it happen again. I figure I have about 30 hunting seasons left in me, and about 4800 days of work. Doing the math, I am no longer willing to give them up (the hunting seasons)!
