I have an older German gun by the name in the subject. It is a 7mm mauser. Anyone have any info on them. I tried searching on the internet, but came up with german pages that I couldn't read. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, didn't know it was a military rifle. If a mod wants to move it, that is fine.
All that is on the rifle is DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN
BERLIN C1105 There is also an S.J.G. on the barrel.

Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken or DWM for short was a major German arms and ammuntion company. Might be military, might be commercial, so I'll leave it here for now. Any chance you can post pictures for the resident Mauser experts?

Easy way to tell if it's a mil or a sporter.
Is there a half inch "thumb notch" just in front of the rear receiver bridge or is it solid from the bridge to the receiver ring?
If the notch is there it's a mil.
If not it's probably a sporter.
Here's a good example of the notch on a Portuguese Mauser on GunBroker.com:
