Boy!!! We were laughing about dogs in another post and Cissey says pass this true story along to you that I had forgot! One of our Northern vistors was passing through Dixie and Levy Counties (I live in Dixie now)on Hwy 19 and saw all these pickups with dog boxes in the back, most filled with dogs! he goes on down to Bradenton, Florida and into Linda and Sonnie Youngblood's big store for some ammo. He seems like a decent fellow and chats with Sonnie awhile. Just before leaving he asks Sonnie about all the dog boxes he saw in North West Florida. Sonnie, with tongue in cheek, tells him they are Bounty Hunters after Wild Dogs! The fellow leaves the store and a week later an article appears in the Bradenton Herald telling about the wild dog epidemic in North West Florida and that Manatee County should have its own Bounty Hunters in case it spreads! Oh well........!
