View Full Version : norinco m14 (desperatly need help here)
hey all i just baught a norinco m14(m305) and no matter how i adjust my sights i cant get a 6inch grouping at a hundred yards .. now i am in the military and therefore i know i can drop a man at 300 hundred yards so my skills are not the problem ... can anyone help me with this ... i would apreciate

Welcome to the forum jay. I don't know what the problem is but you might try a few different brands of ammo. Some rifles are really sensitive to the ammo they like.
Other than that check that all the sight screws, rings and such are tight.
yeah i did try 180gr and 150gr reminington .. but i will try a different brand ... as far as i know my sights are fine but i will tchek again thanks

check the crown nut on the Flash S'pressor, see if it is tight and the S'pressor is aligned correctly. Also check the Gas cyl. nut and make sure it's tight.

Did you get it new? If not you may want to slug the barrel as well just to make sure someone didn't ring the barrel.

Is the barreled action tight in the stock. If not, glass bedding may help alot. I have seen glass bedding work wonders on worn M-1 Garands.
